Pastor Tim Milligan - First United Pentecostal Church - Cookeville, TNTim Milligan
Tim Milligan is the Lead Pastor of First United Pentecostal Church in Cookeville, TN. In addition to preaching and teaching, he provides pastoral counseling and guidance, directs the administration of the church, and oversees and gives guidance to all of First Church’s various ministries.
Rev. Milligan is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. He grew up in Taylorville, Illinois and began feeling the call of God on his life at the age of fifteen. After graduating from high school in 1984, he attended Texas Bible College in Houston and earned his Diploma of Theology. Rev. Milligan then moved back to Taylorville and became Youth Pastor of his home church and also served as Sectional Youth Director. In 1991, he moved to Memphis, TN and began attending The Pentecostal Church pastored by Rev. Terry Black. In 1999, he became Associate Pastor and served in that capacity for thirteen years where he facilitated the outreach and evangelism endeavors of TPC.
Before God planted them in Cookeville in October of 2013, Rev. Milligan and his family evangelized around the country for one year and experienced a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Ghost. He and his wife, Chrystal, have four children – Zander, Bella, Tate, and Henry. In June of 2017, Rev. Milligan was installed as Lead Pastor of First Church. They are honored to work with Bishop and Sis. Phillips and are excited about the future expansion of the church.
