Mercy House facilitates healing for hurting women in need of protection and shelter. Reaching out to the homeless and/or drug addicted women of the community, Mercy House provides temporary housing and an opportunity to overcome hardships.

The house is a part of the Life Recovery Ministries of the First United Pentecostal Church of Cookeville, TN. It is managed by a group of volunteers under the direction of Pastor Ron Phillips and program coordinators, Johnathan and Charlotte Sanders.

Independent Living

The home, named "Mercy House", is a transitional living facility serving those who are homeless or needing a change in environment. Women who qualify will receive shelter, training, education, and assistance to aid them in gaining the skills and resources to become self-sufficient.

Any person who is admitted to the home agrees to participate in a program designed for them. This plan is specific to each person, addressing the areas in which they need the most assistance or training
